Late at night, deep in the woods, you find yourself alone and uncertain about what might emerge. To be honest, it’s not the safest environment. This is exactly what the game “Don’t Scream” is designed for — pushing players to the limits of their fear. As the name suggests, the key rule of the game is not to scream. If you do, you fail and start over. A recent trailer released by developers Joure & Joe reveals new details about the upcoming game.
Don’t Scream opens to early access on October 27
The first thing that catches the eye in the trailer is the realistic graphics of the game, made possible by utilizing the Unreal Engine 5 game engine.
Looking at the Steam page, the focus of the game seems to be on an 18-minute short adventure. Additionally, a microphone is required to play the game, as it recognizes your scream and resets you to the beginning upon failure.
“Don’t Scream” will enter early access on October 27, with developers planning to add more horror elements and optional objectives in future updates.
